Our Church Copyright License® provides simple, comprehensive, and affordable coverage for the typical copying activities that assist congregational singing. It permits you to project copyrighted hymn and worship song words stored on computer, or print them in service sheets or bulletins. In addition, CCLI can usually provide a streaming license permitting worship services to be shared online.

As a license holder you’ll enjoy free access to lyrics on SongSelect, which seamlessly integrates with Presenter by WorshipTools.

CCLI's Mobile Copyright License is tailored for itinerant workers and traveling ministries operating across multiple locations. It provides simple, comprehensive, and affordable coverage for the typical copying activities that assist congregational singing such as projecting copyrighted hymn and worship song words stored on computer, or printing them in service sheets or bulletins.

• The Mobile Copyright License is the same as the Church Copyright License except that the right to record is not included.
• The size category for the license should reflect the maximum expected congregation size in the year the license is active.
• The licensee must retain sole possession of all copies made under the license.
• A Mobile licensee cannot generally use their license to cover their home church congregation.
• A CCLI streaming license add-on is not available for mobile workers.

Whether you’re organizing a wedding, funeral, or service of remembrance, you’ll want to ensure permissions are in place for any songs or creative works you wish to use.

Church-sponsored weddings and funerals (those where the bride, groom, or family usually attend the church) may use the church’s CCLI licenses.

Couples or families who do not usually attend the church can obtain an Event Copyright License for the reproduction of worship songs and hymns during the service. This would include projecting lyrics onto a screen, or printing them in an Order of Service.

If you intend to use other copyrighted material during the service, or wish to record or stream a wedding or funeral during which copyrighted songs are played, CCLI recommends obtaining direct permission from the owners or licensing agencies who administer the rights.

If you’re organizing a one-off event, such as a concert, camp, or conference, CCLI can usually provide a short-term Event Copyright License, as long as the event is non-commercial, and certain conditions are met.
