Church Licenses
The CCLI Streaming License™ and CCLI Streaming Plus License™ extend the cover of the Church Copyright License™ to include online worship. Live-stream or upload your services, including the music, and reach beyond your walls.
Not all streaming solutions offer comprehensive coverage. CCLI’s Streaming Licenses draw on the vast repertoire of our Church Copyright License, so you won’t have to compromise on the songs you’re permitted to stream.
Live-stream or upload your worship to your church website, your social media pages, or other streaming platforms. Don’t have anyone technical? Post your services online using as little as a smartphone.
Report the live worship songs you stream automatically. Enable auto-reporting with a single click from a range of popular worship and presentation software applications.
CCLI’s Streaming Licenses are the best solution for many churches. However, the cover you need depends on how you stream your services, and a combination of licenses may be required. Use the table below to confirm which licenses are right for your church.

Unfortunately, no. The Multitracks.com Church Streaming License is not a direct alternative to CCLI’s licenses, and most churches will still require licensing from CCLI to be fully compliant. CCLI recognizes that it can be hard to understand the differences between license solutions. We recommend reading the full terms of ours, or any alternative provider, to make sure they will actually meet your needs.
CCLI allows you to build licensing solutions that only include the permissions you need. Our streaming licenses extend the song reproduction rights provided by the Church Copyright License when you make your worship services available online.
Yes. Your stream can have lyrics embedded in the stream itself or it can show lyrics in the background.
Absolutely. Your archived stream can be accessed as long as you maintain a CCLI Streaming License.
You’ll find everything you need in our article to help you get started with tracks.
The CCLI Streaming Plus License is for audio recordings only. It permits you to play master recordings and multitracks during services that are streamed or uploaded to the internet. To include video content in your streaming activity, you would need to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s).
We recommend that you include both your Church Copyright License and CCLI Streaming License numbers in the description as you begin your live-stream or upload your worship service, for example:
Used with permission. Church Copyright License Number: 12345 and CCLI Streaming License Number: 54321.
Your CCLI Streaming License provides permission to include authorized worship music during a service which is streamed or webcast. Unfortunately, some platforms may still issue a warning when music is played. Usually when this happens you’ll have the option to confirm that you have the appropriate copyright permission for the music played.
